Overview


CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. You may be required to travel to our Mumbai office based on business requirements or for company/team events. 

 

Digital Media Solutions (DMS) works with scientists, universities, organizations, societies, and publishers across more than 150 accounts from around the world. Through our content writing and design services, we convert complex scientific ideas into engaging content and visuals tailored to different audiences. Read more about DMS and past projects here.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a strong background in academic, publication, and research-focused design. Your work will include scientific illustrations, graphical abstracts, infographics, posters, flyers, and more. You will be responsible for ensuring that all visuals are both scientifically accurate and visually impactful, aligned with client requirements.


Responsibilities


  • Develop vector-based graphics, medical/scientific illustrations, and visually engaging layouts aligned with client requirements.
  • Create and manage editable PowerPoint presentations and convert static files into editable formats.
  • Collaborate with content writers, researchers, and internal teams to translate complex information into clear visual communication.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and high-quality standards across all design deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications and Prerequisites


  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within academic publishing, educational content, or scientific communication.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Creating 3D designs in Blender is an added advantage.
  • Experience in scientific graphic designing, medical illustrations, journal cover designs, and graphical abstract.

For this role, we will have 1 assessment round followed by an interview round.
