Full-time, fixed-term position through to December 2028
Base salary will be in the range $95,361 - $102,302 + 17% super (HEW Level 6)

About This Opportunity
Join a collaborative, purposeful and inclusive team within Information Technology Services, where you will help strengthen cyber safety capability across the UQ community. As Coordinator, Cyber Security Culture, you will support practical, people-centred initiatives that encourage secure behaviours in everyday work and study. Working closely with colleagues, Cyber Security Champions and stakeholders, you will deliver engaging programs that create positive behavioural change.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and supporting the ongoing administration of the Cyber Security Champions Network, including onboarding, monthly meetings, champion activities and collaboration with partner universities
Supporting the coordination of the Cyber Security Internship Program and student-focused cyber security education initiatives
Coordinating the delivery of cyber security training and awareness activities, including Cybercation sessions, participant communications, venues, catering and feedback processes
Assisting with simulated phishing campaigns, awareness content updates, reporting, resource development and quality assurance across cyber uplift initiatives
About You
Completion of a bachelor degree with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education or training
Demonstrated ability to deliver learning events or training activities for diverse audiences
Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, practical and engaging messages
Strong organisational skills, with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent time management skills, including the ability to set, enforce and meet deadlines
Experience presenting information to large audiences, or a genuine willingness to develop this capability
High level digital capability, including experience with Microsoft 365, CRM systems, Adobe Suite platforms, learning management systems, survey tools and eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise
An understanding of cyber security risks, trends and human-centred security practices, with experience in higher education, Drupal or campaign-style engagement activities viewed favourably
