Job Description

Role Main Purpose:

Leading the development and management of commercial partnerships with businesses and organizations. The Manager will contribute to driving revenue growth and expanding the visibility of the Saudi Pro League within the market through hands-on support and partnership management.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Co-Lead in identifying and cultivating relationships with companies and businesses interested in sponsoring. Lead & Co-lead in negotiating sponsorship agreements and ensure that sponsors receive agreed-upon benefits.

  • Negotiate and monitor agencies in the process of securing high-value partnership deals, ensuring terms align with the league’s commercial objectives and long-term growth plans.

  • Act as a secondary point of contact for partners and support the execution of activation plans to maximize the value of partnerships.

  • Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, ensuring deliverables, activations, and satisfaction metrics meet or exceed targets.

  • Lead in the contracting creation and signing process for all deals

  • Participate and support the Media sales team in the local broadcasters’ negotiations for the league broadcasting rights locally.

  • Support Licensing team with manufacturers and retailers to help distribute official merchandise.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including club representatives, sponsors, and government officials.

  • Leading in managing the financial aspects related to commercial functions, including tracking revenue and expenses and deliver financial performance reports.

  • Work alongside the marketing and communications teams to ensure alignment of partnership activations in the proposals for partners

Performance Indicators:

  • % Increase in partnership deals

  • % Increase in partner satisfaction rating

  • % Increase in activation and deliverable completion rate

  • % Increase in revenue contribution from partnerships

Education & Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience in partnership management or commercial functions, ideally in the sports industry or football.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven ability to support in securing and managing commercial partnerships.

  •  Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.

  • Basic understanding of the Saudi Arabian business landscape and sports industry.
