Over the years, GOGOVAN has expanded its business from Hong Kong to Singapore, South Korea, Mainland China, India and Taiwan and will continue to expand globally. In August 2017, GOGOVAN merged with 58 Suyun, the leader in Mainland China’s intra-city logistics market, and increased GOGOVAN’s presence to over 300 cities, with more than 8 million registered drivers under its network.
We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who’s been in the logistics and/or tech-logistics space. This is an individual contributor role and will be part of the Enterprise sales team. What You Will Deliver
- Perform against a financial target
- Sales strategies to increase revenue and profit margin
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients
- Capable of utilizing a consultative approach, discuss business issues with prospect and develop a formal quote, a written sales proposal or a formal sales presentation addressing their business needs
- Respond to RFP's and follow up with prospects
- Stay current with industry trends, monitor market conditions and competitive landscape
- Participate in trade shows and other promotional events
- Develop account plan to sell to customer based on their needs
- Recommend marketing strategies for the assigned accounts set
- Provide timely status information to your manager including forecast/pipeline
- Build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts, penetrate into new divisions resulting in increase of share of wallet
Who You Are
- Degree holder or above in supply chain, logistics or business related disciplines
- 3-5 years' sales experience related to e-commerce logistics solutions, warehouse, trucking company, courier or freight forwarding industry; less experience will be considered Business Development Executive
- Experience with target account selling or solution selling preferred
- Able to communicate with senior managers about their business challenges
- Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas
- Strong in negotiation and closing deals
- Good problem solving, analytical skills, able to work under pressure
- High activity level, enthusiastic, self motivated, persistent and well organised with attention to details
- Team player and excellent communicator who can work seamlessly with customers, partners and cross functional teams within the company
- Proficient with MS Office, with basic computer and software knowledge; AI proficiency is a plus
