JOB DESCRIPTION Designer of the HF / Process Designer (PDE): HCC-HR-OM von Rüden, Wolfgang Process assignment: HI-HR11-30 Process Leader (PLD): HCC-HR-OD Leweling, Tobias Edition date: 2016-03-07 HF 7607_C (2016-03-07) Global Job Title Job No. Packaging Specialist I LE1501 Job Objective Development, validation and release of transport packaging under consideration of quality, economical, logistics and production related requirements Duties and Responsibilities A Packaging Planning 1 Responsibility for the packaging planning in cooperation with internal or external suppliers, customers and the organizational units of logistics, quality, sales and production 2 Finding packaging solutions in consideration of total cost optimization and application of standard methods and tools (e.g. Hella packaging planning process, Pack Assistant and guidelines) considering Hella / customer standards and sales requirements as well as economical, ecological, logistics, quality and production-related aspects 3 Tracking of packaging planning which is carried out by suppliers for purchased parts to assure that Hella standards are followed, packaging data sheets are signed and packaging is suitable for intended use 4 Evaluation of packaging regarding logistics handling, part quality assurance and transport safety as well as arranging and/or carrying out necessary packaging design changes 5 Creation and maintenance of all SAP data (master data, finished goods relevant data, label data) which is in responsibility of packaging engineering 6 Control the adherence and monitor prescribed deadlines for completion of packaging development 7 Participation in mock-up workshops to assure packaging which is optimized for production processes (line back planning) 8 Close collaboration with part suppliers and customers as well as packaging suppliers and logistics service providers to assure standardization, on time availability and agreement on packaging B Calculation / Cost definition 1 Support execution of total logistics cost calculations and profitability analyses including all packaging related costs (e.g. material, investment or rental, tool, handling, transport, storage, cleaning and other relevant costs) 2 Comparing of costs for different types and versions of packaging concepts 3 Execution of packaging cost calculations and continuous improvement of packaging concepts to assure economic concepts and logistics competitiveness in agreement with the superior JOB DESCRIPTION Designer of the HF / Process Designer (PDE): HCC-HR-OM von Rüden, Wolfgang Process assignment: HI-HR11-30 Process Leader (PLD): HCC-HR-OD Leweling, Tobias Edition date: 2016-03-07 HF 7607_C (2016-03-07) C Change management and optimization 1 Packaging supportive in projects aiming at packaging related costs reduction and/or improving packaging 2 Processing of internal or external customer complaints regarding packaging and arranging respective remedial measures Carrying out other tasks related to this position (including examining as well as complying with industrial safety and environmental protection measures pertaining to the scope of duties) Job Profile / Requirements a) profession / education b) job related experience professional education or special diploma More than 2 up to 3 years
