Department Overview

The Accounting Department serves as the financial backbone and strategic compass of the organization. Beyond managing accounts, the team translates complex data into the essential insights that guide executive decision-making and ensure long-term stability.

Their reports and reconciliations directly influence business strategy. Furthermore, the team manages complex audits with expertise, ensuring transparent, real-time financial clarity.

They oversee all financial operations, ranging from day-to-day accounts payable and receivable to complex tax compliance and strategic forecasting. Their commitment is to provide these services with unwavering accuracy and professional excellence.


Job Description

This role will be responsible for leading the full accounting cycle, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements under US GAAP and Local GAAP standards, and fiscal compliance.


Main Responsibilities
1. Preparation of Financial Statements and Reports

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing process.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and analyze balance sheets under local standards and their corresponding conversion to US GAAP.
  • Execute the accounting inflation adjustment (RT 6) and prepare the audited annual financial statements.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual Balance Sheet variance reports.
  • Coordinate and supervise external audit, Financial Statements.
  • Review and analyze accounting accounts.

2. Management and Taxes

  • Supervise and approve tax settlements (Income Tax, VAT) and provincial taxes (Gross Revenue - Multilateral Agreement).
  • Collection Regimes: Control withholding, collection, and retention regimes (SIRCERYD, SIRCREB, ARBA, AGIP).
  • Transfer Pricing: Provide information for the preparation of the declaration.
  • Handling Audits and Inspections.
  • Supervise compliance with deadlines, payments, declarations, and required tax information.

3. Business Support and Internal Control

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls.
  • Internal Advisory: Provide accounting/tax guidelines and support to the different areas of the business.

Basic Requirements

  • University degree in Public Accounting (Contaduría Pública).
  • Current professional license/registration.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in senior accounting/tax roles.
  • Languages: Advanced or bilingual English written and oral.
  • Proficiency in ARCA platforms, SIAP applications, and provincial revenue portals.
  • Experience with Oracle is valued.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google tools.
