What You’ll Do:
- Learn to install, service, and repair residential and commercial garage doors.
- Diagnose issues and help provide solutions for customers.
- Perform routine maintenance to keep systems running safely and efficiently.
- Identify additional needs or improvement opportunities and make helpful recommendations—never pushy, always customer-focused.
- Earn more by providing great service and offering solutions that truly add value.
- Work directly with customers to explain services and ensure a great experience.
- Build hands-on skills using hand tools and power tools.
- Work with equipment like ladders, forklifts, and scissor lifts safely and confidently.
- Build valuable mechanical and technical skills through hands-on training.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn (no experience required).
- Positive attitude and ability to communicate well with customers.
- Comfortable working with your hands and solving problems.
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work on ladders.
- Physically able to bend, kneel, reach, and work in various environments.
- Garage door technicians may work in hot, cold, or dusty environments, both indoors and outdoors.
