The Resistance, Chemotherapy and Predictive Biomarkers research group within the Cancer Area is seeking to recruit a senior laboratory technician. Previous experience in a similar role within a cancer research group is required, including experience with cell culture, genetic manipulation techniques (CRISPR/Cas9), in vitro cytotoxicity assays, qPCR, and western blotting. Knowledge of cancer immunology and participation in scientific publications will be considered a strong asset

JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support for the group’s research activities
- Contribute to the writing of experimental protocols
- Represent the team in lab management meetings
- Prepare reports on research results.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
- Vocational training qualification (intermediate or higher level)
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine or a related field will be valued
- Master's degree in Biomedicine or a related field will be valued
- English level C1 (minimum B2 or equivalent certification required)
- Experience in at least some of the techniques described above

- Full- time contract (1628h/year)

- Gross annual remuneration will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.
