Line Packer - Night

  Job Overview  Under the general supervision of the Machine Operator, Area Leader, Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager; the General Production Worker will be responsible to follow directions for various plant tasks to ensure good quality products are efficiently manufactured at all times.  This role is permanent full-time with a standard 37.5 hour work week and eligibility for overtime.   Payrate Range  - 16.50 to 16.50 an hour    Key Responsibilities:  Responsible for performing various general plant tasks; packaging, feeding product to the line and/or packaging, making boxes, applying tamper seals, closing lids, etc. that help to ensure good quality product is produced at all times  Responsible for performing any task that will be associated with the assembly or packaging of the product  Responsible to perform the job responsibilities of a back-up Machine Operator for coverage purpose from time to time  Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety policy at all times  Responsible for practicing and adhering to Give & Go’s policies and best practices  Responsible for following Give & Go core values; Respect, Direct Communication & Quality  Responsible for other reasonable duties as assigned by the Area Leader/Supervisor and/or Plant Manager The Recipe for Success:  Completion of high school education or equivalent  1-3 years of manufacturing experience; asset to have worked in food and dairy manufacturing industry  Good hand and manual dexterity  Ability to stand for long periods of times  Flexibility to work rotating and/or weekend shift  Ability to work in a fast paced environment What we offer:  Benefits including Medical, Dental & Vision  Basic Life Insurance  401K  Basic AD&D  Vacation and Sick Time   #GNG2
