About the Role:
We're hiring an Assistant Project Manager who works well in a fast-paced setting, enjoys working with people, and has a talent for keeping projects on track. Partnering closely with our Project Managers and other key stakeholders, you'll help ensure our commercial drywall projects are delivered successfully from start to finish. It's a strong opportunity to build hands-on construction project management experience with a clear path to advance.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Coordinate communication between project managers, clients, and field teams to keep everyone aligned.
- Support planning, scheduling, and resource management to keep projects on time and on budget.
- Work with field crews to uphold quality standards and ensure client satisfaction.
- Step in to solve unexpected challenges with a resourceful, can-do approach.
- Track project progress, maintain accurate records, and keep stakeholders updated.
- Look for ways to improve processes and make a real impact on how the team operates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field - or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 1+ years in commercial construction or project coordination, ideally with some exposure to drywall, finishing, or a related trade.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.
