Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous Thermal Validation Engineer to evaluate and ensure the thermal safety, reliability, and performance of our products. You will simulate real-world environmental conditions to analyze how our devices handle heat generation and dissipation. Your expertise will be critical in preventing overheating issues and ensuring user safety and comfort during product operation.

 Requires a B.S. in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of thermal validation experience in consumer electronics

Key Responsibilities: 

• • Develop and execute thermal validation protocols across various product development stages.

• Operate and maintain thermal chambers to simulate extreme environmental conditions.

• Instrument devices with temperature loggers and thermocouples to gather accurate thermal data.

• Utilize heating and cooling human models to assess thermal impact on user comfort and safety.

• Conduct solar simulation testing to evaluate device performance under direct sunlight exposure.

• Analyze thermal data, identify potential bottlenecks, and collaborate with mechanical and hardware teams to implement effective thermal management solutions.

Required Knowledge & Qualifications: 

• Extensive experience operating thermal chambers and environmental testing equipment.

• Proficiency in setting up and reading data from temperature loggers, specifically thermocouples.

• Familiarity with the use of heating and cooling human models for ergonomic thermal testing.

• Experience with solar simulators and understanding of solar radiation effects on electronics.

• Strong background in thermodynamics, heat transfer principles, and thermal data analysis.
