
Medical Assistant - Ambulatory Surgery Center
Job Description
Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant for our dynamic Ambulatory Surgery Center at our Salmon Creek 2 location. In this role, you’ll support the overall delivery of patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit by assisting nursing staff with patient monitoring and post-op care, preparing and maintaining exam rooms and equipment, supporting the discharge process, and helping maintain safety and infection control standards. Location: Salmon Creek 2 (2529 NE 139th Street – Vancouver, WA 98686)
Schedule: four, 10-hour shifts with variable start/end times on rotating weeks (one week: 6:00a-4:30p, one week: 7:00a-5:30p, one week: 8:00a-6:30p)
Hiring Range is generally between $20.59-$24.68 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.
With active Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential, hiring range is generally between $22.25-$27.48 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Required completion of one of the following: current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential or combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification. Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain active status throughout employment.
Current healthcare provider BLS required
Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred.

Pay Range:
