What you’ll do
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinates repair/refurb activities with planning and engineering departments to repair / replace inventory at an effective cost and timely manner.
- Processes purchase orders and requests for quotes to suppliers.
- Own responsibility of supplier coordination in meeting cycle time for RMA & Repairs/refurbishments. Also coordinate with warehouse to resolve receiving variances & MRB issues
- Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to negotiate highest quality at best value.
- Interacts closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues.
- Requires domestic or global understanding of assigned commodities
- Analyzes reports and metrics for deviation from plan, reconciles data variances and uses that information to guide the identification of root cause and execution of corrective action activities to deliver system capability and improvement
Who we’re looking for
- Proficiency in SAP MM, MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Ability and skill to manage repair ops business processes with sustained results
- High level of Supplier interfacing skills, effective listener, professional and courteous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate cross-functionally
- Strong Problem-solving skills to analyze, document and improve business processes with sustained results
- High energy, strong work ethic, adaptive, able to meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to work as part of a team
Preferred qualifications
Years of Experience : Min 4 years - Max 8 years
Job Experience : Minimum 4 years working experience in multinational high technology corporation, in direct procurement or Repair Operations
Education : Typically requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree of Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, Production or MBA

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
