The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

What you’ll do
- Generate, compile, and analyze first-level quality data and reports to support the Regional Operations and Lam Quality Program.
- Identify, design, and implement automation solutions (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Excel macros, Python scripting) to streamline recurring reports such as: GQ (Global Quality) report updates (e.g., damage codes) / GQ NCe (Non-Conformity External) reporting with Inv Group – Field Service / Reverse logistic reports / GQ reports needing action (FQM / QPL)
- Maintain dashboards and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of recurring submissions
- Work with Supplier management team on the Quality escape review (I dont want to say "clean up" though)
- Support the Lam Quality Management process through IQMS (Integrated Quality Management System)
- IRF (Investigation Request Form) submission, review & approval support
- NCe content quality checks and follow-ups with originators
- Partner with local logistic team on the part returns that need to send for Failure Analysis (FA)
- Support Investigation & RCCA (Root Cause / Corrective Action) content reviews; flag deficiencies to originators & GQ
- Assist in responding to RFI (Request For Information)
- NCe audits and follow-up for closure with end users
- Engage with QCOs (Quality Case Owners) to help drive investigation and RCCA progress under guidance of senior engineers
- Support iQMS cycle-time adherence (14 days / 60 days for Critical & Low Customer Impacts; SQN/SCAR timelines as stipulated)
- Build customer trust through consistent communication and reporting as well as contribute to the Quality Community and collaborate with regional QPLs
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Semiconductor or wafer fab experience is considered an advantage, and candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn and undergo training to build relevant competencies.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
