Program/Project Manager 5
Job Description
The group you’ll be a part of
The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.
The impact you’ll make
The Business Operations Program / Project Manager strengthens execution across the Global Logistics Organization through disciplined ownership, cross-functional integration, and problem-solving. This role provides sustained leadership to own and scale the Serialization Program globally, driving execution, reducing error rates, and building a scalable, low-touch, system-driven capability.
Act as the single owner across multiple functions, closing current gaps in end-to-end ownership.
Success in this role requires a dependable leader who can navigate ambiguity, meet commitments, and drive alignment and accountability across operations, business management, and enterprise programs in a global environment.
What you’ll do
- End-to-End Program Ownership and Scaled Execution (own the roadmap, delivery, KPIs, and expansion of part onboarding across Asia)
- Cross-Functional Integration Across Operations and Systems (align Logistics, Manufacturing, Warehousing, SAP, ATTP, and Cell Fusion into a single execution model)
- Error Reduction, Root Cause Analysis, and Program Health Management (drive sustained error reduction through root cause analysis, leading indicators, and site accountability)
- Asia SME Development and Site-Level Quality Ownership (build regional expertise and enable Quality Managers to own error rates across warehouse and depot operations)
- Scalable Part Onboarding Transformation (redesign new-part preparation to support volume growth and eliminate manual, non-scalable processes)
- Serialization Process Automation and System-Driven Execution (reduce manual touches, improve system integration, and advance low-touch, less human-dependent operations)
- Governance, KPI Ownership, and Executive Visibility (own performance metrics, operating cadence, escalation paths, and leadership reporting)
Who we’re looking for
- Global Logistics Operations experience required
- A single-threaded program leader who thrives in ambiguity, loves complex challenges, brings global teams together, operates with a customer-first mindset, and pushes innovative, scalable solutions that reduce complexity and drive results.
- A highly execution‑driven program manager who instinctively turns ideas into action—rapidly moving from concept to delivery with speed, ownership, and minimal friction.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in business operations, program, project, or product management, or related roles in a global, matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting commitments, driving execution, and solving complex cross-functional problems.
- Experience leading enterprise or cross-organizational initiatives that require influence without direct authority.
- Strong executive communication, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making.
Preferred qualifications
- Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus
- Experience operating in large, global organizations and working across regions, including Asia, Europe, and North America
- Background in environments that require disciplined execution
- Project management certifications such as PMP is highly desirable
