POSITION SCOPE
GA Group has launched a comprehensive platform to serve clients through its “Core 4” Financial Advisory offerings: Valuation, Transaction Opinions, CFO Advisory, and Transaction Advisory Services (Quality of Earnings), and is seeking a high-performing Manager to join the Quality of Earnings team. This role offers a rare opportunity to contribute at the ground level of a growing, performance-driven platform. The position is ideal for a candidate with proven experience managing Quality of Earnings teams and work product. The Manager will project manage buy-side and sell-side transaction engagements, overseeing teams of associates to deliver high-quality financial insights to clients. The Manager will also serve as a client point of contact and be well versed in relationship and stakeholder management.
While this is a remote role, candidates based in or near the Dallas/Fort Worth area are strongly preferred to support team collaboration and growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Oversee teams performing Quality of Earnings analyses, including revenue and EBITDA normalization, working capital assessments, and identification of key financial trends; at times, perform underlying work in complex transactions or when team is stretched
- Supervise other QofE workstreams, such as:
- historical financial statements analyses
- detailed financial reports and client deliverables identification of unusual or non-recurring items impacting financial performance
- data requests and information flow during diligence processes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables
- Own client relationships and ensure timely communication of findings; run client discussions throughout project/deal lifecycle
- Participate in business development efforts, industry events shows; contribute to knowledge sharing and market influence
- Hire, train & performance manage Associates to ensure continuous development and progression
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in public accounting (audit or transaction advisory preferred)
- Direct experience with Quality of Earnings required
- Proven experience project managing teams and serving as first point of contact for clients
- CPA preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Expertise in Excel and financial modeling
- Curiosity/fluency in automated intelligence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly collaborative
