POSITION SCOPE
GA Group has launched a comprehensive platform to serve clients through its “Core 4” Financial Advisory offerings: Valuation, Transaction Opinions, CFO Advisory, and Transaction Advisory Services (Quality of Earnings), and is seeking high-performing Associates to join the Quality of Earnings team. This role offers a rare opportunity to contribute at the ground level of a growing, performance-driven platform. The position is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in public accounting and direct experience performing financial due diligence or Quality of Earnings analyses. The Associate will support buy-side and sell-side transaction engagements, working closely with managers and senior leadership to deliver high-quality financial insights to clients.
While this is a remote role, candidates based in or near the Dallas/Fort Worth area are strongly preferred to support team collaboration and growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Perform Quality of Earnings analyses, including revenue and EBITDA normalization, working capital assessments, and identification of key financial trends
- Analyze historical financial statements and underlying data to assess earnings sustainability and risks
- Assist in preparing detailed financial reports and client deliverables
- Identify and investigate unusual or non-recurring items impacting financial performance
- Support data requests and manage information flow during diligence processes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables
- Communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders and contribute to client discussions as appropriate
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting (audit or transaction advisory preferred)
- Direct experience with Quality of Earnings or financial due diligence strongly preferred
- CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Curiosity/fluency in automated intelligence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly collaborative
