POSITION SCOPE

GA Group’s Industrial Solutions practice is seeking a market-facing, relationship-driven dealmaker to help grow and expand our platform. Our team partners with companies, lenders, and advisors to maximize asset value across both distressed and healthy situations, delivering tailored disposition solutions backed by deep industry expertise.

This role is ideal for an experienced and well-connected professional who thrives on originating opportunities, building relationships, and driving revenue. The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding our market presence, sourcing new business, and reinforcing GA Group’s position as a trusted partner in complex asset disposition scenarios. The ideal candidate brings a strong network, sharp commercial instincts, and a deep understanding of the machinery and equipment (M&E) disposition market, along with a highly visible and proactive approach to business development.

While this is a remote role, candidates could be based in several of our offices – Boston, New York City, Los Angeles or Chicago.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Originate new business opportunities for industrial asset liquidation, auctions, and related services
  • Actively market the industrial liquidation solutions practice as well as the firm’s full suite of capabilities to corporate clients, plant managers, lenders, private equity firms, and restructuring advisors
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline through direct outreach, industry events, and existing relationships
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating asset sales, plant closures, and distressed situations
  • Collaborate closely with internal liquidation teams, appraisal groups, and other business development professionals to deliver integrated solutions
  • Travel regularly to meet clients, attend site visits, and represent the firm in the field
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry activity, and competitive dynamics

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 15+ years of experience in business development, asset disposition, industrial auctions, restructuring, or a related field
  • Established network within relevant channels, including corporate operators, plant leadership, lenders, private equity, and advisory firms
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and close complex deals
  • Strong understanding of industrial assets, valuation, and liquidation processes is preferred
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently while collaborating across teams
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently
