Base Salary Rate: $108,209.00 - $127,305.00

About This Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Planner responsible for developing and executing supply plans that support both make-to-stock (MTS) and make-to-order (MTO) strategies. This role ensures optimal service, inventory health, and backlog integrity while balancing capacity, material availability, and demand variability. The Supply Planner partners closely with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Customer Fulfillment to translate demand signals into executable supply plans and to drive continuous improvement in supply planning strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Execution
Develop, maintain, and execute medium- to short-term supply plans that support both MTS and MTO products.
Translate demand plans, customer orders, and backlog requirements into feasible production and procurement plans.
Balance service, inventory, and cost objectives while managing constraints related to capacity, materials, and lead times.
Backlog & Order Health
Own backlog health for assigned product families, ensuring order promise integrity, timely fulfillment, and proactive issue resolution.
Monitor backlog aging, past-due orders, and customer commit adherence; recommend corrective actions as needed.
Partner with Customer Service and Sales to communicate risks, recovery plans, and expected delivery performance.
Inventory Management
Set and manage inventory targets appropriate to MTS and MTO strategies, including safety stock, cycle stock, and strategic buffers.
Identify and mitigate risks of excess and obsolete inventory while protecting customer service.
Support inventory optimization initiatives aligned with business and working capital goals.
SIOP and S&OE Cross-Functional Collaboration
Actively participate in SIOP and S&OE processes, providing supply feasibility, scenario analysis, and risk/opportunity assessments.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality to resolve supply constraints and support product lifecycle changes.
Align supply plans with capacity planning and long-term strategy for our strategic growth business.
Supply Planning Reporting, Analytics & Process Improvement
Own the development, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of supply planning reports and dashboards to support decision‑making across SIOP, S&OE, and daily execution.
Analyze supply performance using quantitative metrics such as service level (OTIF), backlog health, schedule adherence, inventory turns, DIO, forecast consumption, and capacity utilization and drive corrective actions.
Identify trends, risks, and root causes of supply gaps, service shortfalls, or inventory imbalances; translate insights into clear recommendations and actionable plans.
Partner with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance to ensure alignment on assumptions, metrics, and data integrity used in planning and performance reviews.
Drive standardization and simplification of supply planning processes, planning parameters, and reporting methodologies across product families or manufacturing sites.
Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, responsiveness, and efficiency, leveraging tools such as Kinaxis, ERP data, and advanced Excel analytics.
Document planning processes, reporting logic, and decision rules to improve transparency, repeatability, and knowledge transfer within the supply planning function.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or related supply chain roles.
3+ years of experience managing both make-to-stock and make-to-order planning environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Strong understanding of backlog management, customer order fulfillment, and service performance.
Experience supporting SIOP mid-term planning and S&OE short-term planning processes.
Proficiency with ERP and planning systems (e.g., JDE, Oracle, Kinaxis, o9, or similar).
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, etc.)
ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent.
Experience developing or influencing supply planning strategy in complex, multi-site environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
