About This Role   The HR Generalist Specialist – Europe is a key member of the regional HR team, responsible for providing both strategic HR partnership and operational support across multiple European countries. This role acts as the primary HR point of contact for business leaders and employees, supporting workforce planning, performance management, talent development, and employee relations, while also delivering HR transactional activities such as case resolution and employee lifecycle support.  The position ensures compliance with European labor legislation, manages interactions with Works Councils, and plays an integral role in embedding global HR processes locally. This hybrid role enables the organization to maintain a consistent strategic HR presence in the region while delivering operational efficiency and a high-quality employee experience.  Key Responsibilities  Serve as a trusted advisor to people leaders and employees across assigned European countries.  Support organizational design, role structures, and workforce planning aligned to business objectives.  Lead execution of performance and talent processes, including goal alignment, development plans, succession discussions, and calibration sessions.  Provide guidance on compensation decisions, policy interpretation, and internal mobility.  Manage employee relations cases with a balanced risk and employee experience approach.  Conduct investigations, disciplinary procedures, and termination processes as required.  Ensure policies and actions comply with country-specific labor legislation and data protection standards.  Lead and coordinate interactions with Unions and Works Councils, including consultation, negotiation, documentation, and formal communication processes.  Monitor market labor trends and regulatory changes, advising leaders accordingly.  Provide employee and manager support through case management tool.  Support HR documentation, contracts, employment confirmations, and employee records.  Support new hire onboarding, job changes, leaves of absence, and offboarding processes.  Identify opportunities to optimize self-service, automation, and operational efficiency.  Partner with Centers of Expertise (Talent Acquisition, Talent & Development, Compensation & Benefits) to ensure global programs are executed effectively across Europe.  Support the communication and change management required for HR initiatives, systems, and policy updates.  Required Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employment Law, or related field.  Experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Operations experience supporting European markets.  Demonstrated experience in employee relations, investigations, and HR case management.  Experience interacting with or negotiating with Unions and/or Works Councils.  Knowledge of employment legislation across European jurisdictions.  Experience working in a matrixed, global or fast-paced evolving organization.  Skills and Competencies  Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.  Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.  Business acumen with data-driven decision-making capability.  Excellent planning, prioritization, and execution discipline. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.  Resilience and adaptability in periods of change.  Fluency in Dutch and English is required; additional European languages preferred.
