Server / Waitstaff – Martin City Pizza and Taproom
Position Overview:
Martin City Pizza and Tap is seeking friendly, attentive, and motivated servers to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a lively, casual atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and courteously, taking and delivering food and drink orders accurately
Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about ingredients, specials, and dietary options
Ensure timely and efficient service to maintain high customer satisfaction
Assist guests with special requests and resolve any issues or concerns professionally
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, menus, and service stations
Accurately process payments and operate the POS system
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards
Promote daily specials and upsell menu items when appropriate
Support team members to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment
Qualifications:
Prior serving experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and familiar with alcohol service regulations
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Good vision and manual dexterity
