As a Technician Facilities, you will be responsible for performing planned, preventive and corrective maintenance, including installation, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electromechanical systems, in order to ensure safe, reliable and efficient facility operations, ensuring minimal breakdowns and downtime, and support business continuity in line with defined standards, best practices and safety regulations.

In this role you will;

• Perform planned preventive maintenance on buildings, utilities, electrical, and electro-mechanical equipment to ensure reliability and operational efficiency;
• Conduct fault finding, troubleshooting, diagnostics to identify root causes and minor repair works to minimise downtime and restore services promptly;
• Respond to maintenance requests and queries in a timely and accurate manner to meet internal customer expectations;
• Coordinate and support maintenance and repair activities with external contractors and service providers to ensure quality and timely execution;
• Conduct regular health and safety checks and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment;
• Report breakdowns, defects, delays, and equipment downtime promptly to enable timely escalation and resolution;
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and intervention records for compliance and traceability;
• Update technical documentation, including mark-ups and as-built drawings, to reflect modifications and installations;
• Participate in renovation, refurbishment, and improvement projects across facilities;
• Review maintenance practices and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and service quality;
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas during and after interventions.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of:

• NC Level 3 in Electrical, Electronic, HVAC, Plumbing, Automation, or a related technical field;
• 3 years’ experience in facilities or technical maintenance within a commercial or office environment;
• Hands-on experience in building, electrical, and electro-mechanical maintenance;
• A valid driving licence.

You will also be required to demonstrate:

• Sound knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices;
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations;
• Willingness to work odd hours, including weekends and public holidays when required;
• Knowledge of MS Office tools.

A combination of both qualifications and experience will be considered.
