We are on the lookout for:
Job vacancy: CSR Manager
As a CSR Manager you will define and drive the strategic direction, planning and execution of MCB Group’s CSR initiatives through the MCB Forward Foundation, ensuring disciplined delivery, measurable impact, and alignment with the Group’s purpose Success Beyond Numbers, while strengthening reputation and stakeholder engagement.
In this role you will,
Strategic Leadership & Programme Design – Define and drive the strategic direction of MCB Group’s CSR initiatives through the MCB Forward Foundation, ensuring alignment with the Group’s purpose Success Beyond Numbers and delivering measurable social impact.
Stakeholder Partnerships & Community Engagement – Build and manage strategic partnerships with NGOs, government bodies, private sector players and community organisations to co-design and implement innovative, high-impact CSR programmes.
Budget & Resource Management – Oversee the CSR operating budget (min. MUR 50M) with rigour and integrity, ensuring efficient allocation of human, logistical and financial resources while upholding the highest standards of ethics and governance.
Impact Measurement & Reporting – Develop and monitor CSR impact metrics and financial indicators to assess programme effectiveness, track performance against forecast, and drive continuous improvement across initiatives.
Communication & Reputation – Champion CSR visibility internally and externally by collaborating with Communication and Digital Marketing teams, reinforcing MCB’s brand values and strengthening its reputational capital.
Team Leadership & Capability Building – Lead, empower and develop the CSR team by fostering a high-performance culture, identifying training needs, sharing expertise, and ensuring delivery standards are consistently met.

We are looking for candidates who have a:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Sustainability, Business, or a related field;
- A minimum of 6 years of working experience in CSR, community development, social impact, or related fields;
AND
Experience or relevant qualification in one of the following areas:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering community-level initiatives or programmes with measurable impact;
- Demonstrated experience in project and resource management, including budgeting, planning, and reporting;
- Experience leading or contributing to multi-stakeholder projects (e.g., NGOs, government, private sector, communities);
- Professional certification in Project Management or equivalent practical experience in managing programmes/initiatives is an asset
