Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day clinical operations for the CDNYPI imaging joint venture.
- Partners with physician, Columbia Doctors, and New York-Presbyterian leadership to ensure alignment with institutional goals.
- Monitors operational performance, quality metrics, service levels, and key performance indicators.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and institutional standards.
- Provides leadership for patient access functions, including scheduling and registration workflows.
- Implements strategies to improve access, reduce wait times, and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Collaborates with enterprise patient experience teams to align with institutional priorities and best practices.
- Oversees physician and community outreach activities to strengthen referral relationships and expand market presence.
- Develops and implements outreach strategies in support of departmental growth and service expansion.
- Analyzes referral and market data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Partners with departmental and institutional leadership on new clinical programs, site expansions, and strategic initiatives.
- Supports business planning, feasibility analyses, and implementation of new imaging services and partnerships.
- Collaborates with finance, legal, compliance, and strategy teams to support contracting and operational readiness.
- Leads initiatives to evaluate and improve clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and throughput.
- Works collaboratively with radiologists, technologists, nursing, IT, and administrative teams to implement process improvements.
- Uses data and analytics to identify performance gaps and sustain operational improvements.
- Manages and develops a team of clinical, operational, and outreach staff.
- Promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
- Provides leadership through change management and operational transformation initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus Seven (7) years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in healthcare operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex clinical operations and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Master’s degree in health administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field.
- Experience in an academic medical center or large, complex health system.
- Experience with ambulatory, imaging, or physician practice operations.
- Experience with joint ventures, patient access operations, and clinical growth initiatives.
