Injection Technical Coordinator Jr.

Position Summary: Perform setup, optimization, and troubleshooting of injection molding processes to ensure the stable and efficient production of high-quality plastic components for dispensing, closure, and flexible packaging solutions, preferred experience in companies as Olan de Mexico, Silgan dispensing systems. Create the process for new molds and FAT. Support daily production, perform injection process, and maintain process documentation (standard operation procedures, Process data sheet, process parameters data sheet). Train the process technician to guarantee that they are following the standard parameters. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Document the set up, adjust, and optimize injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment for daily production. Troubleshoot molding issues (e.g., short shots, flash, sink marks) and adjust process parameters as needed to maintain product quality and documentation. Monitor/Audit process parameters and machine performance to ensure stable operation. Conduct first-piece inspections and ensure that parts meet quality requirements. Collaborate with Maintenance, Tooling, and Quality teams to resolve process and equipment issues. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety protocols. Maintain process documentation, including process sheets, parameter settings, and troubleshooting logs. Support continuous improvement activities related to cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and process stability. Train and mentor other technicians and machine operators on best practices. Homologate new molds and create the properly parameters. Responsible for FAT for new molds.
