POSITION OVERVIEW:
Join Back to Nature Home and Garden as an in-field Maintenance Fine Garden Crew Member. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining the health, beauty, and precision of luxury residential landscapes.
As part of a crew, you will work under the direction of a Crew Leader to execute daily maintenance tasks with a high level of care and attention to detail. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is passionate about horticulture and landscape care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform detailed landscape maintenance including pruning, weeding, edging, mulching, and bed care
Assist with planting, transplanting, and seasonal flower rotations
Support proper care of trees, shrubs, perennials, and turf areas
Help inspect and maintain irrigation systems; report issues to Crew Leader
Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
Follow daily job instructions and complete tasks efficiently and accurately
Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites at all times
Identify and report plant health issues, pests, or site concerns
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
Represent the company professionally while on client properties
Qualifications:
1-3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or fine gardening preferred
Basic knowledge of plant identification and pruning techniques
Familiarity with horticultural best practices is a plus
Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
