Assistant Habitat Manager SER

Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position: Serve as regional lead for 1 or more of the programs administered by the habitat section Supervise 1 or more employees of the habitat section Represent the Division on inter-agency committees, and in state and community meetings. Fulfill some of the administrative rolls related to the following: Writing and/or updating Wildlife Management Area management plans; Administering grazing permits; Administering other permits or COR's; Championing real estate proposals; Serving as liaison with local and county governments or other land management agencies; Participate in and/or recommend land management decisions; Assist in developing and monitoring habitat section budgets; etc.
