Job Description

As a key member of our HR Operations team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our Workday environment. You’ll combine hands-on execution with process optimization, helping to deliver a seamless employee experience.

What you'll do:

  • Own Workday Transactions: Manage day-to-day Workday business processes (corrections, cancellations, rescinds), proactively resolving stalled or stuck transactions and ensuring employee records remain accurate.

  • Support HR Core Processes: Action “to do” and “review” steps within Workday (e.g., employee self-service changes, work permit reviews), ensuring timely and compliant processing.

  • Manage Key Requests: Handle unassigned requests such as job changes, role assignments, and the creation of new supervisory organizations.

  • Maintain System Access & Data Integrity:

    • Facilitate Workday access for unique scenarios (e.g., terminated employees where automation is unavailable)

    • Process manual updates, including PRO requests and setup/termination of Board of Directors and contingent workers

  • Lead Mass Data Changes (EIB): Own end-to-end execution of centralized updates using EIB—from intake and impact assessment to testing and deployment. Projects include reorganizations, cost center or location changes, store realignments, and more.

  • Lead Data Audit Activities: Lead weekly and monthly data audits within Workday to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

  • Shift from Reactive to Proactive: Design and implement alerts, notifications, and controls within Workday to identify and prevent issues before they occur.

  • Drive Data Quality & Insights:

    • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance

    • Identify trends and recommend improvements to reduce recurring issues

    • Partner with HR Reporting to enhance audit reporting and insights

  • Continuously Improve Processes: Evaluate current workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and the overall employee experience.

  • Case Management & Stakeholder Support: Review and resolve Workday-related cases (e.g., EIB and mass changes), ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.

  • Support System Testing: Create and manage employee lifecycle transactions in test environments to support system enhancements and technology initiatives.

What you bring:

  • Workday Expertise:
2–4 years of experience in HR systems or operations, with strong hands-on experience in Workday (HCM, Compensation, and Benefits).

  • Analytical Mindset:
Advanced Excel skills and a strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, identify issues, and deliver accurate results.

  • Process & Improvement Focus:
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for improving workflows and leveraging technology effectively.

  • Strong Communication Skills:
Clear and professional written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Organization & Ownership:
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines independently, and take ownership of your work.

  • Collaborative Approach:
A team player who builds strong relationships and works effectively across HR, technology, and business teams.

  • Discretion & Integrity:
Commitment to handling sensitive HR data with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

We’re always looking for great talent! In addition to competitive pay, we offer:

  • Comprehensive benefits and retirement programs

  • Performance incentives, Continuing Education Programs

  • Other perks to support your well-being
