About the Role

Rx relief is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to support sterile production operations within a high-volume compounding pharmacy in the Central Valley, CA. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of all sterile compounded medications prepared in accordance with USP <797> Category 3 standards and applicable state and federal regulations.
 

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile compounded medications, including large-batch productions
• Perform bubble point integrity testing and accurately maintain batch production logs
• Oversee aseptic technique and ensure adherence to USP <797> standards
• Supervise and train pharmacy technicians involved in sterile compounding
• Review and verify compounding records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address deviations and implement corrective actions
• Maintain proper gowning, environmental monitoring, and documentation per SOP and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy 
• Active pharmacist license in the state of California
• 1–2 years of previous sterile compounding experience; USP <797> Category 3 experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills
