About the Role
Are you passionate about the cocoa industry and ready to take on a dynamic role in a global company? We are seeking a Junior Sales Manager to join our team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for driving commercial success, managing client relationships, and ensuring the highest standards of service and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the cocoa industry.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, quality assurance, and finance to ensure seamless operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
- Pipeline Management: Drive the pipeline of new customers month-to-month, ensuring consistent growth and expansion.
- Client Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and integration.
- Product Mapping: Ensure monthly mapping of products with clients to optimize offerings and meet client needs.
- C-Level Engagement: Build solid and influential relationships at C-Level with top clients to create new sales opportunities.
- Debt Management: Supervise and coordinate with the finance team to maintain client’s debt exposure under control.
- Event Representation: Represent the company at fairs, trade shows, conferences, and client events to increase the profile of the company.
- Risk Management: Conducting risk assessments and managing contractual and commercial issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in a commercial role within the cocoa or related industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
