Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. Job Type: Full Time Responsibilities Duties: Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Develop and execute automated test cases to validate application functionality. Design and develop custom tools to complement QA efforts, including utilities that streamline testing processes, enhance defect detection, and improve reporting accuracy. Maintain and troubleshoot in-house automation frameworks to ensure their reliability and seamless integration. Monitor overall system health daily by implementing and maintaining automated monitoring solutions, while also performing functional testing to proactively identify and address issues, ensuring application stability and performance. Enhance and extend existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage, adaptability, and maintainability. Lead and mentor both Manual and Automation QA team members by providing guidance, reviewing their work, and ensuring adherence to best practices in quality assurance. Perform root-cause analysis of failed automated test cases and system issues, ensuring efficient resolution and continuous improvement. Collaborate with development and product teams during Agile sprints to define test strategies and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. Research and implement the latest QA tools, techniques, and trends to improve automation efficiency and align with industry standards. Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint retrospectives, providing updates on QA progress, blockers, and suggestions for improvements. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. Qualifications Requirements: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field and three years of experience in the job offered or three years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Position also requires three years of experience in each of the following: 1. Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java to validate the functionality and reliability of web applications. 2. Design scalable test automation frameworks with TestNG, Maven to manage test execution and dependency configurations. 3. Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices using Cucumber to create clear, business-readable scenarios. 4. Perform API testing and automation using REST-Assured, HttpClient and Postman to validate RESTful services. 5. Execute performance and load testing using SoapUI and JMeter to measure application behavior under varying user loads. 6. Manage version control using GIT by maintaining branch structures, resolving merge conflicts, and collaborating effectively with distributed teams. 7. Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including smoke testing, regression testing, integration testing, functional testing, and end-to-end system testing, to ensure application reliability and quality. 8. Test Reporting, Test data setup, Test Result Analysis to identify potential issues; actively participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize and resolve defects to meet project requirements and deliverables. 9. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
