Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage rosters across OSHC and holiday programs to ensure consistent coverage and compliance.

  • Respond to staffing changes, absences, and urgent workforce requirements in real time.

  • Partner with Area Managers and service teams to address workforce needs and optimise staffing outcomes.

  • Coordinate casual staff and external agencies to maintain service continuity.

  • Navigate multiple systems and support continuous improvement of rostering and workforce processes.

  • Ensure adherence to staffing ratios, child safety requirements, and mandatory training obligations.

  • Balance proactive workforce planning with responsive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

  • Qualifications & Experience: A degree in HR, Business, Education, or related field (preferred) with proven experience in multi-site workforce coordination and scheduling ideally in education or care services
  • Prior education experience 
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of childcare regulations, OSHC standards, and workforce management tools
  • Skills & Competencies: Strong organizational, resilience, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage operations across multiple locations and work collaboratively or independently
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside standard business hours to meet service needs
