Job Description

NMR Research Fellow position is open in school of physical and mathematical sciences, Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instrumentation & Maintenance: Responsible for routine instrument calibration, cryogenic maintenance, and advanced hardware troubleshooting to ensure 100% uptime of the NMR center’s spectrometers.

  • Computational & Experimental Research: Actively contribute to PI-led research initiatives. This includes configuring laboratory servers and performing advanced structural simulations using Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Molecular Dynamics (MD) to complement experimental NMR data.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in the field of biochemistry/biophysics, chemistry, material sciences or related fields

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in NMR spectroscopy

  • Prior programming experience is highly desirable; the successful candidate will be expected to develop custom scripts and facilitate advanced data analysis workflows.

  • Should have a passion for basic research, NMR development and application, and is expected to participate in research projects
