Accesses available patient information to confirm exam appropriateness, patient identity, and correlation of diagnostic reports with new symptoms. Performs cardiac studies including echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and dobutamine echo. Conducts vascular studies such as arterial, venous, carotid, renal artery, abdominal aorta, and ABI’s. Prepares preliminary reports and communicates pertinent information to physicians about abnormal findings. Operates and calibrates equipment effectively, safely, and efficiently, reporting malfunctions and supply shortages to the immediate supervisor or director. Prioritizes time and resources to meet daily workloads. Participates in quality assessment and performance improvement activities. Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Maintains accurate records and documentation. Ensures compliance with safety regulations and organizational policies. Manages inventory and orders supplies as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Advanced knowledge medical technology and terminology [Required]
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills [Required]
• Desire to learn and upgrade clinical skills [Required]
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows [Preferred]
Education:
• Associate [Required]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• in healthcare related field
Work Experience:
• 1+ of experience in echocardiography and/or vascular technology [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] OR Radiologic Technologist - License (RT-LIC) [Required] OR State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] OR NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Required] OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) [Required] OR Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular Interventional (R.T.(CV)(ARRT)) [Required] OR Licensed Paramedic (PARA) [Required]
