Drives team to aggressively retain and grow existing customers as well as find and develop new prospects in their regions. Focus on expanding our presence in regions outside of Europe. Owns the monthly Sales Forecast and Opportunity pipeline.
Establish a culture in the sales organization that is results focused. Be a key driver in changing the sales organization's orientation from pure topline growth to profitable topline growth (i.e. limited discounting, price attainment, etc.)
Meet with key customers, assisting sales team with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
Develop annual sales plan to support organizational strategy and obtain financial objectives.
Manage product management and after sales divisions including NA & International Technical Service and Customer Service. Regional Sales Directors are direct reports.
Collaborates and partners with MARCOM, global product managers and other global functional areas by providing market analysis and feedback concerning market direction, customer needs, product requirements, business opportunities, competitive threats.
Manages the development and administration of sales compensation plans and targets working in conjunction with Finance and Human Resources.
