
Tyler Union - Melt Utility - 1st Shift
Job Description
Interpret work orders and verbal instructions to determine tasks and material requirements.
Conduct daily furnace inspections.
Basic knowledge of furnace and ladle repair.
Use of pneumatic air tools.
Operate a remote-controlled overhead crane.
Operating air / gas-controlled ladle torches
Basic knowledge of the process of capturing iron / base chemistry samples
Maintain transfer ladles during operation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Meet or exceed hourly production targets.
Report equipment issues or production errors to supervisors.
