Tyler Union - Melt Utility - 1st Shift

• Interpret work orders and verbal instructions to determine tasks and material requirements. 

• Conduct daily furnace inspections. 

• Basic knowledge of furnace and ladle repair. 

• Use of pneumatic air tools.

• Operate a remote-controlled overhead crane.

• Operating air / gas-controlled ladle torches 

• Basic knowledge of the process of capturing iron / base chemistry samples 

• Maintain transfer ladles during operation.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area. 

• Meet or exceed hourly production targets. 

• Report equipment issues or production errors to supervisors.
