Mankiewicz Coatings LLC is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role supports the daily functions of the Human Resources department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. 
 
Job Responsibilities:
Involved throughout the entire employee life cycle (recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and terminating employees), employee engagement and training. Continuous improvement of Human Resources processes.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. 
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for
openings.
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintain employee records and paperwork.
Responsible for training and development initiatives.
Assist Accounting department with payroll processing.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requires flexibility and understanding that this position may be required to perform duties outside the duties listed above in order to meet the mission and goals of Mankiewicz Coatings.
 
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Experience in manufacturing preferred.
Experience with SAP software preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
The position requires the ability to travel both domestically and internationally, including to countries and customers that may require proof of vaccination.
Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
 
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Requires walking, standing, bending, kneeling and reaching.
Exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals.
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
