Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a Salesforce Trainer to design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that support users across our investment advisory and corporate teams. This role is critical to ensuring strong Salesforce adoption, consistent system usage, and effective alignment with business processes and regulatory practices. This is not a Salesforce administrator or configuration role. The focus is on end-user enablement, translating Salesforce functionality and workflows into clear, role-based training that supports day-to-day work for front-office and back-office users.
Hands-on experience delivering Salesforce end-user training in a complex, regulated environment is essential for success in this role.
This is an existing vacancy. Duties and Responsibilities
Training Design & Delivery• Design and deliver engaging Salesforce-focused instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training programs for front-office and back-office teams• Translate complex business processes, Salesforce workflows, and regulatory concepts into clear, role-based training materials• Facilitate onboarding and ongoing enablement for advisory teams and corporate staff
Systems & Process Enablement• Lead end-user Salesforce training for enterprise platforms (e.g. CRM, workflow, case management, reporting tools)• Partner with Technology, Product, and Change teams to support Salesforce implementations, enhancements, and process changes• Develop Salesforce user guides, quick reference materials, job aids, and recorded tutorials
Stakeholder Collaboration• Work closely with business leaders, SMEs, and project teams to identify training needs and readiness gaps• Tailor training approaches to different audiences (e.g. advisors, assistants/associates, managers, operations, compliance)• Collect feedback and continuously improve training effectiveness and adoption
Measurement & Continuous Improvement• Track Salesforce training attendance, completion, and effectiveness• Identify adoption risks and recommend targeted refresher or remediation training• Support change management efforts by reinforcing Salesforce-driven behaviors and system adoption Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in corporate training, learning & development, or enablement• Experience delivering training within financial services, investment management, wealth management, or brokerage environments• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences• Proven ability to translate complex processes into practical, user-friendly training• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills• Experience training end users on Salesforce or similar CRM/workflow platforms• Ability to explain Salesforce functionality, workflows, and data concepts in plain language• Familiarity with Salesforce-supported sales, service, or advisory processes• Experience supporting Salesforce implementations, enhancements, or major releases• Familiarity with CRM-driven sales, service, or advisory processes• Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, or major releases is a strong asset
Education • Post-secondary education (Bachelor’s degree)
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $94,500-115,500.The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, and the consideration of internal equity.Richardson offers a competitive total rewards package in addition to the base pay, which includes a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a group RRSP matching plan and paid time off.
