The purpose of this role is to drive business decisions by analysing trends and identifying opportunities using various models and systems. Additionally, the role involves leading and coordinating projects, reports, and operational activities within the team to drive change and enhance service delivery. Responsible for providing leadership, direction and coordination of projects, reports and operational activities within the team, including driving change and optimize service delivery. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting systems and processes that provide accurate, timely, and insightful information to support strategic and operational decision-making. This role also involves working closely with various departments, collecting data, and presenting it in a clear and understandable manner to assist stakeholders in making informed choices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide recommendations on business improvement plans/strategies.
  • Develop programs and frameworks that improve SLAs and KPIs.
  • Translate business strategies into operational objectives for specific lines of business.
  • Drive the performance of the whole team.
  • Improve operational systems, processes, and policies to support the organisation's mission.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate service standards and regulations.
  • Establish and maintain efficient relationships with stakeholders.
  • Resolve escalated complaints and respond to critical issues appropriately.
  • Prepare reports on performance metrics, develop action plans for team development, and manage approvals and administration processes.
  • Contributes to Consumption Framework development and ensures solutions produced are in line with overriding strategy for the team.
  • Facilitate the identification and documentation of more complex and unique reporting requirements, provide project support, and implement detailed rollout plans to optimize transition and usage.
  • Undertake problem investigation, analysis, and resolution to maintain and improve service to customers.
  • Actively coach and mentor BIA Team to ensure knowledge is shared
  • Provide technical support to our end users on the use and application of data and educate them in the usage of the reporting and analytical tools.
  • Provide clear visibility of projects and its progress through to issues resolution
  • Produce documentation aligning with our audit controls
  • Support R&D into new MI tools and initiatives

Work Experience:

Necessary Work Experience includes:

  • Some relevant work experience.

Preferred Work Experience includes:

  • Experience in a Business Analyst/Reporting Analyst role.
  • Qlikview experience.
  • SQL database experience.
  • SAS database experience.

Qualifications:

Necessary Qualifications include:

  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
     

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.

General office jobs: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is not substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Incumbent must be able to lift basic office equipment up to 20 lbs.
