Job purpose:
The Customer 360 (C360) SME will lead the design, delivery, and implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions across Sun Life Asia markets. This role is critical to enabling a unified, accurate, and trusted view of customer data, supporting strategic initiatives such as digital transformation, personalization, and regulatory compliance.
The SME will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure successful deployment of C360 capabilities, aligning with Sun Life’s enterprise data strategy and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of C360 (MDM) solutions across Asia markets, ensuring alignment with global architecture and standards.
- Define solution architecture, integration patterns, and data models for customer master data.
- Proficient in building Data API
- Oversee implementation activities including configuration, data migration, and testing.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and translate them into scalable MDM solutions.
- Act as the primary SME for C360, providing guidance to regional and local teams.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to contractual deliverables and SLAs.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Sun Life’s data governance, privacy, and security policies.
- Establish data quality metrics and monitoring frameworks for customer data.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance C360 capabilities through emerging technologies and best practices.
- Drive adoption of data management standards and promote a data-driven culture across Asia.
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of Master Data Management platforms (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration (ETL), and API-based architectures.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Domain Knowledge:
- Customer data management in financial services or insurance industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., PDPA, GDPR).
Leadership & Delivery:
- Proven track record in leading large-scale MDM implementations across multiple geographies.
- Strong vendor management and project governance skills.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- MDM-related certifications (e.g., Informatica MDM Specialist) preferred.
- Project Management certification (PMP, Agile) is an asset.
