JOB SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Revenue Management is a key strategic leader responsible for driving Norwegian Cruise Line’s overall revenue performance, pricing strategy, and demand optimization. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role sets the vision and direction for revenue management across the brand, ensuring alignment with broader commercial objectives.
This leader will be accountable for maximizing ticket revenue, optimizing yield, and delivering against financial targets through innovative pricing strategies, advanced analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires a forward-thinking, results-driven executive who can lead and develop a high-performing team, influence senior stakeholders, and introduce innovative approaches to revenue optimization in a dynamic and competitive environment.
Strategic Revenue Leadership
Define and lead the revenue management strategy to optimize yield, occupancy, and profitability across all sailings and markets for the brand.
Shape long-term pricing architecture, promotional strategies, and channel optimization frameworks to support sustained commercial performance and market competitiveness.
Partner with the Chief Revenue Officer and executive leadership to align revenue goals with broader commercial and corporate objectives.
Anticipate market dynamics, competitive pressures, and evolving consumer trends to proactively position the brand for continued growth and market leadership.
Financial Performance & Accountability
Assume full accountability for achieving revenue targets, budget commitments, and optimal financial outcomes.
Lead global demand forecasting, inventory strategy, and pricing governance to support revenue optimization and business objectives.
Oversee key revenue levers and commercial investment strategies, including promotional effectiveness and ancillary revenue performance.
Deliver executive-level insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to inform business planning and decision-making.
Operational Excellence & Innovation
Drive continuous enhancement of forecasting methodologies, pricing strategies, and decision-making capabilities through advanced analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
Partner cross-functionally with technology and analytics teams to strengthen revenue management systems, tools, and reporting capabilities.
Champion innovative commercial initiatives that enhance competitive positioning, support scalable growth, and drive long-term revenue performance.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing revenue management organization, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
Establish clear performance expectations and conduct ongoing performance management and professional development.
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Itinerary Planning to align commercial strategies, promotional initiatives, and product positioning with revenue objectives.
Ensure strong alignment between strategic priorities and revenue management execution to support consistent business performance and operational excellence.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 15 years related experience, including but not limited to Revenue Management, Finance, Sales, Strategic Planning or Accounting.
Demonstrated strong strategic and operational leadership by identifying growth opportunities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to long-term business performance.
Cruise line, Hospitality, Air, or Gaming experience required.
Masters degree preferred.
