JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Commercial Finance & FP&A – Luxury Group is responsible for leading integrated commercial forecasting, financial planning, and strategic financial analysis across Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. This role serves as a key finance business partner to Commercial, Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership teams by providing financial leadership, actionable insights, and strategic decision support to maximize revenue growth and profitability.
This position oversees Commercial Finance, Sales & Marketing Planning, and FP&A functions for the Luxury Group, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and consolidated financial reporting. The Senior Director reports directly to the Luxury Group CFO.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead integrated commercial forecasting and strategic financial planning processes for the Luxury Group.
- Partner closely with Revenue Management leadership to evaluate forecasts, pricing strategies, booking trends, and revenue opportunities.
- Provide proactive financial analysis and recommendations to maximize revenue performance and profitability.
- Oversee reporting and analysis of Net Ticket Revenue (NTR), booking performance, and key commercial KPIs.
- Ensure alignment across forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
- Lead forecasting and budgeting for all Sales channels, including Trade, Direct, Onboard, and International.
- Oversee Marketing Planning, including Advertising & Promotion (A&P) forecasting, budgeting, ROI analysis, and performance tracking.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to provide actionable insights and analytics.
- Support optimization initiatives related to channel performance and commercial effectiveness.
- Lead consolidated monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning processes for the Luxury Group.
- Own the development and maintenance of long-range financial models and planning assumptions.
- Lead scenario analysis and financial modeling for strategic initiatives and operational decisions.
- Partner with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Strategy, and Accounting teams on key financial initiatives.
- Lead and develop the Commercial Finance & FP&A organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and analytical rigor.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting, and financial processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE:
Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or strategic finance required.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business analysis.
- Experience partnering with senior commercial and operational leaders.
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Experience within hospitality, travel, cruise, airline, or consumer-focused industries preferred.
- Experience supporting Revenue Management, Sales, or Marketing organizations preferred.
