Description
HMB Professional Engineers is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Proposal Coordinator to support our marketing and business development efforts. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys collaborating with technical teams to produce compelling proposals.
Position Overview: The Proposal Coordinator will lead the development, coordination, and submission of proposals, qualifications packages, and marketing materials. This individual will work closely with engineers, project managers, and leadership to create high-quality, compliant, and visually engaging responses to RFPs and RFQs.

Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate and manage the full proposal lifecycle from kickoff to submission
· Develop, write, edit, and format proposals and qualifications packages
· Ensure compliance with client requirements and deadlines
· Collaborate with technical staff to gather project information and tailor content
· Maintain and update proposal materials, resumes, and project descriptions
· Assist with presentations, marketing materials, and branding efforts
· Coordinate and maintain state DOT pre-qualifications and related documentation
· Prepare and submit award applications, including ENR, Hot Firms, and Best Places to Work programs
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field
· Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Technical Skills:
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365
· Experience with Adobe programs and/or Canva preferred
Preferred Experience:
· Experience responding to RFPs/RFQs, preferably in the A/E/C industry
· Familiarity with proposal processes for public sector clients is a plus
