- Compensation: $20-$45/hour based on experience plus service spiffs
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC and ventilation systems, using root-cause analysis to ensure long-term solutions.
- Perform comprehensive maintenance, including cleaning air handlers and coils, system calibration, and replacing wear-and-tear components (motors, fans, belts, and filters).
- Translate technical findings into clear repair options for homeowners and provide transparent, upfront pricing.
- Evaluate aging or inefficient equipment and educate customers on system replacements and ongoing maintenance memberships.
- professional rapport with homeowners to better understand lifestyle needs and system requirements.
- Maintain consistent communication with Dispatch and Customer Service teams to ensure efficient scheduling and job completion.
- Manage a fully stocked service vehicle and ensure all job sites are kept clean, safe, and organized.
- Complete all invoices, timecards, and service reports accurately and on time via company mobile platforms.
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of residential HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of local HVAC codes and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-75 lbs.
- Ability to frequent stoop, kneel and crouch to work in tight spaces.
- Ability to climb and work from ladders.
- Must be able to work in both extreme heat and cold, as well as adverse weather conditions.
Pay Range: $20 - $45 per hour
