Summary: The purpose of this position is to foster student learning through effectively teaching coursework in the assigned program area.
Job Duties:
- Effectively organize, prepare, and teach assigned courses to students with varying backgrounds and abilities and adjust teaching techniques accordingly. Maintain a classroom environment that supports student retention and completion.
- Monitors and provides frequent and specific feedback to students regarding the attainment of the learning outcomes and their progress in the course.
- Work and communicate professionally with others. Perform in a manner which benefits student learning.
Education and Experience: Must have the necessary prior experience to demonstrate expertise in the field to be taught.
Abilities: Must have good human relations and communications skills.
