Specialist, HSSE & Sustainability (Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

• • Advise the Head of Site (HOS) and project leadership on all HSSE-related matters.
  • Oversee conformance with relevant statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Periodically review and update HSSE documents, procedures and registers.
  • Support HSSE Department administration matters at project base.
• • Plan and ensure execution of HSSE Quarterly Priorities per Client and HQ programs.
  • Conduct and participate in workplace inspections at site.
• Manage and deliver HQ and Client HSSE programs for site and public
  • Ensure appropriate risk assessments are in place for all HSSE activities

Requirements:

Formal Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related discipline.

Work Experience:Minimum 8 years total working experience, with at least 5 years in an HSSE role. Prior experience in healthcare facilities management, hospital operations, or large-scale infrastructure/construction projects is preferred.

Mandatory Certifications: Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH Malaysia (Green Book holder under OSHA 1994 and SHO Regulations 2024)
