As an innovative logistics provider, we offer our customers optimized logistics solutions and consulting in the area of Supply Chain Management (SCM) based on our proprietary Cello platform.

Samsung SDS Smart Logistics operates in 40 countries worldwide and employs more than 4,500 logistics experts.

We are looking for an Operations Manager (m/f/d) to coordinate, manage and further develop our multiple locations as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Close communication with Samsung's regional management and executive board

• Point of contact for customers at the sites

• Monitoring and development of the sites, as well as evaluating customer requirements and their implementation

• Regular (monthly) visits to the sites

• Personnel responsibility for the Warehouse/Site Managers in the External Business division and their associated teams

• Creating and providing suitable KPI reports for customers and management

• Reviewing and improving operational productivity

• Tracking logistics costs and focusing on operational improvement opportunities

• Analyzing and improving processes

• Reporting on operational status to SDS management

• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations, guidelines, and quality standards

• Supporting and developing the "Operational Excellence" standard to develop showcase sites for Samsung SDS

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in logistics – ideally with further qualification as a logistics manager – and/or a degree in logistics

• References and several years of experience in warehouse management, ideally in tire logistics

• Strong leadership personality

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment

• Outstanding analytical skills and a high degree of personal responsibility

• Good knowledge of Cello and SAP

• Results-oriented mindset

• Excellent German and English skills
