Job Summary

Hillsboro Townhouse Apartments is seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the apartment community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep tasks to ensure a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and pressure washing common areas.
• Maintain landscaping by watering plants, trimming bushes, and picking up litter.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, and reporting repair needs.
• Ensure all outdoor areas, including parking lots, sidewalks, and entryways, are clean and free of debris.
• Respond promptly to resident requests related to cleanliness and maintenance.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down community events as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial, maintenance, or porter roles preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule that may include weekdays and occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
