Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at Hillsboro Townhouse Apartments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance team, ensuring timely repairs, and maintaining the overall condition of the property to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance staff.
• Perform routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs.
• Schedule and oversee repairs, preventive maintenance, and emergency work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Train and mentor maintenance team members to improve skills and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with property management and residents regarding maintenance issues.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records and reports.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in maintenance and supervisory roles, preferably in residential property management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
