Job Summary

Prairie Estate Townhomes is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our community located in Grand Prairie, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance team, ensuring timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Perform routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff to promote professional development and high performance.
• Coordinate with property management and vendors for specialized repairs and projects.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software and work order systems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment

This position requires working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The Maintenance Supervisor must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies as needed and be available for on-call emergencies.
